How much do you actually work?

My dad owns one company, my b/f owns the other.

I work approx. 1 hour a day, get a full salary (no benefits though) and 90% of the things I want to buy... I figure out a way to make it a business expense.

🙂

I work 10 hrs / day and get paid for 8. Of course, I am lucky enough not to be working on Saturdays (without pay)... how nice can life be when you have a cheap bo$$... 🙂

At one job, I'd say I work 4.5 - 5 hours in a five hour shift. At my other job, I think I probably work 20-30 minutes out of a 10 hour shift.

I work a 9 hour shift and I've worked about 5 minutes so far today. I came in late today, but I'll make it up by leaving early. 🙂

i work 5 hours/day and usually do about 40 minutes of work.. the rest of the time i surf the web, post here 😀

2-3 hours of my average 8 hour work day are spent working, but when things get busy I have to work all 8 hours and sometimes overtime.

8.5 hour work day, and I work about 7 of that, on my feet. ugh!

At least your not pounding pitsburgs, moving thousands of pounds of duct/day, and grinding/welding pipe fittings, while on your feet. 🙂

Out of an 8 hour day... 2 hours of work mabye. I like playing yahoo pool, going for walks, smoking, emailing stupid jokes, talking, reading random stuff on the net, listening to music, reading magazines, long lunches and a host of other fun things.

People get shi!tcanned where I work if you aren't productive. Everyone runs around with their sh!t all day, getting a hold of anyone is a pain in the ass. Damn C&I consolidation, integrations, and we just canned about 35% of our workforce and half our contractors.
