I know the head of the memory division at AMD (he's an old friend of my dad's). I'm not sure of his salary, but he owns 3 houses and a commercial property in the bay area, and his wife doesn't work, and his 3 kids have college paid for already, even though I think the oldest one is 12.

He graduated from Stanford.

I migrated from I.S in University to Mech Eng. I was able to transfer several courses and one math. I have thermodynamics flashbacks to this day.
