how much discount do you get as an employee at walmart ?

20%

edit: that's also off sale prices and stuff.. but only general merchandise.. no discount on groceries

yes, i'm positive.. not in a "i work there" positivity.. but more as in a "my friend does, and i've gone with her while she used her discount" positivity

getting a job at walmart for a discount? no.....work somewhere else...don't work at places for discounts, it's just not worth it

just one day a week or something and get the discount.

Snippet from Google: "walmart wages details. Total after 10% employee discount and sales tax."

Hell, I worked there for 2 years in High School... but I forgot how much it was 😀

yeah, that's like gambling for comps...a losing venture.

10% off shelf price

The discount does not include food found in a Super Walmart. It does include vendor food, pop, crackers, etc. You do not get it off clearance prices or prices that have been lowered to match someone most of the time. It's not much but it helps. Any other questions, I do work there.

regular retail price?
What you see on the shelf. I consider retail to be the price sometimes printed on the product which can be more.

yeah it is worth it. I work at best buy fri nights at the tech bench on top of my "real" job and it is WELL worth it. but; the discount is just a bit above cost.

no not really
I'd rather save the 200 or so with the discount then just waste it.
