How much difference do the vibrating razors actually make?

Any Difference? I do like the fusion ( i keep getting them free in the mail so thats the best part...) but are the battery operated ones any better? does it actually help?

to me, they made no difference.
I tried the Venus Vibrance and it was not any better than another razor i tried.

they seem to move smoother over your skin, but the shave isn't closer and the amount of irritation is the same. not worth spending money on, IMO.

Those razors being talked about have more than 1 blade. I believe 3-4 or maybe 5 blades. I am not 100% positive. I do know that I have to use at least the Gillette 3bladed turbo or I get really bad razor burn. Or I use my good electric razor.

Old girlfriend liked me to shave her with the Venus....

As for the quality of the shave? Seemed more like a gimic.

Don't shave down on the lower part of your neck.

I got a Fusion in the mail and liked it but you can't find the blade refills in the stores so what's the point? I'll stick with my Gillette Mach 3.

I use my Schick Quattro and everyday when I am finished I drop it in a trough of RazorMax oil. Keeps the blade sharp for 3-4 weeks.

It hurts less when shaving, at least for me. It's not pain-free, but it's definitely nicer on the skin if you're sporting 2-day old+ whiskers.

I can find the Fusion blades anywhere here.

I get a better shave with the vibrating ones...less irritation as well. I have compared the mach 3 in most versions and I currently use a quattro.

I have to shave below my chin, and my neck (in the military) the mach 3 works fine.

Everytime I go to my local supermarket all they have are the Fusion single razors and no refills. Every single time...

I shave below my chin with my Mach 3 and Fusion.

I have the Mach 3 Turbo and the M3 power and I believe the powered one (vibrating) is better because you do feel less as you drag the razor along your skin. It's more irritating to use the M3 when its powered off. I guess also cuz you hear your hear cutting and you hear/feel your skin being scraped. But definitely, you feel it less because the vibrating helps hair get cut as the blades are shaking as it hits the hair so it's kinda self-cutting rather than fully relying on your hands to drag it across your face.

Costco has refills. $40 for 16 I believe

Did you actually mean that you shaved her?
