wont the vibrations = more risk of cuts?

I guess you don't shave much, usually after about 10 face scrapings you don't cut yourself anymore and no I have not had a problem with cutting myself with the vibrating razors. they work just fine I don't notice much of a difference between the two other than the vibrating one is easier to clean.

Don't let girlfriends near them! ;)

I tried both versions of the Fusion blade. Your skin does feel a little smoother with the battery powered one. The big difference I noticed was using that single trimming balde. With the battery one I just pushed the button and used that blade easily. With the regular Fusion the trimming blade was easy to use at first but when I tried to use it again it seems like the blade bends. It did this with every new set of blades I put on it. I had to tilt it a little more but it felt like the sharpness of the blade was gone after the first use.

Forward to the past - Wet shave with safety razor beats all other methods. Switched last year, never going back.

Those razors being talked about have more than 1 blade. I believe 3-4 or maybe 5 blades. I am not 100% positive. I do know that I have to use at least the Gillette 3bladed turbo or I get really bad razor burn. Or I use my good electric razor.

Don't shave down on the lower part of your neck.

I got a Fusion in the mail and liked it but you can't find the blade refills in the stores so what's the point? I'll stick with my Gillette Mach 3.

I can find the Fusion blades anywhere here.

I get a better shave with the vibrating ones...less irritation as well. I have compared the mach 3 in most versions and I currently use a quattro.

Everytime I go to my local supermarket all they have are the Fusion single razors and no refills. Every single time...

I got mine at Costco. When I got mine the razors were on sale (slightly cheaper than the blades alone), so now I have 3 razors (2 powered and one not powered... or maybe the other way around) and about 30 blades. That'll hold me for a while.
