How much diff. does Anti Aliasing make?

K, my Best Buy VT GF3 Ti200 just came in and I was wondering how much difference AA makes in Return to Castle Wolf. Should I turn it on or leave it off? Right now I'm at 1024x768 with everything on and sometimes during huge explosions and wild flame thrower my fps will dip below 20fps. BTW, I got a Duron 1ghz

well i did have it enabled but i couldn't tell much of a differnece.

Then there is your answer right there.
Evidently you do not see much of a difference in RTCW, so why does it make a difference what other people see?
I don't know about you, but I'm generally more concerned with what I can see then with what others can see.
FWIW, FSAA is generally much less useful in first person shooters then it is in other genres.

Grab a copy of Madden 2002, and try it with and without FSAA and you'll most likely notice a huge difference.
