How much did you spend on your Honeymoon?

My parents paid for a 7 day cruise and I think my then wife and I spent an additional 1-2k on the trip.

What a good place for Honeymoon in January ?

Have youyr wedding and honeymoon at Disney World. Did this for my daughter and it cost $4500 total. Was a lot cheaper than putting on a wedding and my wife and I got a nice vacation also.

The best part is she doesn?t know we are going first class or that we are going to Tahiti and Bora Bora. I just can?t wait to see her reaction when we get to the airport to go back to the US and she finds out we are going to Tahiti and Bora Bora.

its definately a dream trip but if i ever were to spend 40k like that i would hope my wife would kick the sh!t out of me (preferrably before i dropped all that cash on the trip).

Err.....honeymoon? I'm sure we'll get around to that in a few years. We spent less than 3K for the whole wedding....

Dress was $99 at Davids Bridal spring sale.
Friend DJ reception, had another borrow PA speakers and amps.
Sister in law did cake.
Nice old man at VFW hall gave us break on the food. He wasn't in charge by the time wedding rolled around.
Cheap tuxes.
No photographer. Just told everyone to give us copies of their pictures and plenty of people had digital cameras so that was convenient.
No limo. I forgot about it.
Flowers from Costco.
Decorations from the dollar store.

But it was still the best day of my life

Wedding + honeymoon was under $500. JOP plus clothes from the closet. Dinner afterwards at a local Italian restaurant. Drove to Port Angeles and took the ferry to Victoria BC. Couple nights there (Empress, upgraded room for free.)
