How much did you make at your first full-time job?

$12.72/hour, full time while I was going to school full time also. It increased to $13.72 after they saw how much work I did, but it was still a crap job that gave me little experience.

I'm making $36k/year at my 1-year full-time internship 😀 😀

Will be $50k/year plus all benefits my first year outta college in a full-time position for the same company, and it only goes up 😀 😀

EDIT: Those numbers are about 30% above average for my degree (BUS) in my area (very low cost of living...$500k buys a small mansion)

Its the military dude. The paycheck IS the danger pay.

Oh, in the navy we get 150 a month if we are actually out at sea.
I have no idea if the army gets paid to actually go into the field.

Yup..depending on if its a combat zone or not. I am no longer in but when I was pay adds up quick. Aside from the ~2k a month base pay, theres COLA, BAH, BAS, hazardous duty pay, jump pay, etc. I took home around $2400 after taxes every two weeks ($4800) a month the last few years I was in (including BAH, COLA, BAS, and all the supplemental pay). It was actually good money considering. Oh and thats not to mention that time served in a combat zone is tax free, so when I was deployed the money was even better.
