How much damage have I done to my monitor?

So the other day I was attempting an RGB mod on my dreamcast. Foolishly I allowed the wall current to short through the dreamcast's video cable, which was connected to my Gateway FPD1530 monitor. Now it won't turn on, though I didn't notice anything spectacular happen to it when the short occurred. How much damage do you think I've done to it? Can it be salvaged with a new control board? Can those even be bought?
