How much cleavage should a woman show at work?

moshquerade

No Lifer
In a normal workplace setting do you think cleavage should be totally covered or is a little bit fine?
Don't answer what you would *like* to see, but what you think is appropriate and doesn't lend to distraction.

Dammit!

I would say none at all if its strictly professional (ibanking etc). No real moral judgment here, just the way corporate culture is. But it all depends on what field you're in. If yo'ure in advertising, a little cleavage is probably good

As much as physically possible.

This. ESPECIALLY if they are a dental hygenist or such that will be leaning down in front of your face.

lol.

sometimes the boobs brush up unintentionally. it's unavoidable.

depends on where she works...

in a normal office with cubicles, she should be completely covered.

if she works in a marketing firm, show as much as legally possible.

if she works at a non-profit, it's really up to her and how she feels.

don't tell me that! men are convinced every boob brush is a calculated indicator of interest. it bolsters our egos

Hmm...not sure. Model some shirts you had in mind ranging from conservative to "oh God I see nipple" and let us decide what is appropriate.

ok i have a technical question. if the woman is completely bare-breasted does that mean there is 0% cleavage or 100% cleavage?

Your simple question sir has exploded my head. Bravo!

I think dress codes are old fashioned. People should be free to wear what they would like. That said, if people are not responsible with their choice of attire, then they will likely not make it too far up the chain.

The bigger question to ask is why does a woman does show cleavage at work? Is she trying to get hit on? Is she using her curves to get ahead of the curve? Or is she just plain dumb?

Assuming we're talking about a corporate setting and not a bar...I think there should be no cleavage showing. Seriously.

I like...no I LOVE boobies as much as the next guy...and I mean all types of boobies. Big, small, perky, saggy...fun bags galore. But not at work.

If you show boobs, you're trying to get attention/hit on/promoted.

If I look at the boobs you're showing, then I'm a pig, a male chauvanist, a horn dogger, a serial rapist. It's a no-win for all involved.

I'm not saying to dress like a nun. Heck, a nice knee-length (or slightly above) skirt and a shirt with the top button (maybe two) undone. Collarbones are nice.

But don't show me your boobies b/c then it affects The Business. And we dont' want that.

My math teacher used to do this, which is why it was one of my better subjects. Thank God for Ms. Wiggins boobies, it really has helped me later on in life.
