Just found a mason jar full of coins =O

special places of interest were; couch, box for keys near front entrance, computer desk, and top of clothes drier.

Next stop, MY CAR!!

I just keep a big jar and take it to one of those coinstar things. It's always at least a hundred bucks, more likely 2-3. Think about it, you probably bring home close to a buck in change a day, that's 365 bucks a year.

In what currency? I have $USD and various other currencies.

But of the most value is the jar of $USD. By guesstimation, I'd say roughly $50, +/- $5 or so.

maybe if everyone spent all there loose change in one day, we could save this economy? That's change I think we all can believe in

$36.10

I have one of those jars that keeps track of the total. I normally take it to the bank when it's about half full, which takes awhile since I rarely use cash.

That was $325. I had like 3 grocery bags put together so I can bring that to the bank.

I get to the bank, BANG as I put it on the counter. "I'd like to deposit this". Good thing it was not busy lol.

WTF kind of coins are those? Some kind of carnival tokens for rides on the clown-coaster?

LOL no, but I did have a carwash coin I was tempted to just roll up with the loonies... lol

It's called toonies, loonies, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. 😛

I have a mound of change on a bookshelf in my bedroom where I empty my pockets every night and another mound of change in my car that I use for parking meters.

no clue how much it would add up to and I pretty much never spend change except in said parking meters.

I had saved 9 oasis bottle of coins and I had £650 in change! Took 5hrs to count!!!!!

its 100% free if you do it @ your bank

We don't have that luxery where I live, have to roll ourselves. Those pic I posted, I rolled it myself using a cheapo china plastic coin machine. I like calling it the scam-o-matic because half the time there's pennies between the dimes so I have to recount. 😛

i fill up this tootsie roll thing that ends up being about 50 bucks... i use 4 of them to fill up a ziplock bag... i usually wait until i have 2 3/4 ziplock bags and get like 300-400 depending...i have 1 ziplock bag currently so probably around $150.

Mine doesn't even bother to count it before they hand me my deposit slip. Although I kind of hate rolling by hand.
