Honestly, I think some of this money has been w/ me for more than a year. Generally I only keep $20 bills in my wallet, and other bills just in my pocket. When I break a $20 bill, I tend to just waste the rest of it quickly (coke machine, slurpee, god knows what (hobos?)) But then when I go to the ATM to replace money, I put it in the front of my wallet. I know I haven't made any large cash purchases within the last year... or more. So I figure some of this money has been with me a long time.

And no, I'm not sending you any money.

I've got to get to the bank soon and make a deposit. My last two cash deposits were $1100 and $420. $1100 was too much. It would be a rough deal if I somehow lost that much.

The most cash I've ever carried was $1950 on the day I bought my car. I was doing some serious shopping, for either a '00 or newer car (best loan rate at the credit union), or a really nice deal at $1950 or less. I didn't find my $1950 car, so I made a $2000 down payment at a dealership with $1930 cash and $70 on my credit card.
