For those that carry around $100 or more.....why?
Because cash is king. Everyone, everywhere, takes cash.

See i don't carry hardly any cash, and will avoid places that won't take my debit card.

Everyone takes debit around here. In N Out was the only place holding out and even they caved. Also, of the place that I can think that might not take debit...I could see spending <$30 or so.

Alot of smaller establishments don't take credit or debit cards and if they do I really don't trust them to use my cards there. That's why I use cash.

Have you ever waited in line while the person in front of you wanted to pay by CC for their "lunch/dinner" Mike? It takes forever! :| I want to pay for my meal and enjoy my lunch hour! 🙂

Then you would be missing out on some great eateries around here.

Also, most personal transactions require cash.

I dunno, CC/Debit seems so quick and easy to me. I can't stand people that use checks though.

Also, I understand carrying around $20 or whatever...but why $100 or more?

Where do you go that you wait in line to pay for lunch/dinner? If it's fast food, it takes no longer for debit or credit than cash IMO. If it's not fast food, every place I can think of around here you pay at the table.
