Depends on the food. Some of my favorites are:

Tacos = 4 or 5 (I mean the homemade flour tortilla stuffed to the max kind)

Pizza = about 6 slices (pepperoni and sausage please)

Fried chicken = 4 thighs and a couple legs

My BBQ ribs = Maybe a rack before I get sick to my stomach from the goodness.
