I?ve not been happy with my gaming performance since I built my rig about six months ago (see specs below). I?ve been beating my head against the wall trying different ways to improve performance but I?m still not getting good results. Several computer savvy people have told me that I?m not getting the best performance because there?s a bottleneck at my video card.
My question is, how much of a boost would I get by upgrading to a X800 or 6800 series card? I don?t want to shell out a bunch of money just to get a little jump in performance. I want to see noticeable results. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
