I've played both versions completely, and I must say that the PC version was much, much more enjoyable graphically and functionally on the PC. Not only were the controls better, but the added functions of the console and mods make it much nicer IMO.

That is assuming you can get the game to work (worked flawlessly for me on Vista 32)

Win 7 64bit and DIRT 2 are having some troubles too. Might be wise to dual boot Vista and Win 7. Win 7 still has some maturing to do along with video drivers for Win 7.

I prefer the eye candy and modding that come with PC version of games. But it does come at a price. PC gaming not cheap.

I'm playing KOTOR on Win Vista 64 at 1920x1200 and it's running perfectly. Awesome game! :awe:

Horrendous to install on Vista/Win7 x64 and get it running? No.

No. Replayed KOTOR on a POS Grandmonther's Vista x32 PC (even with the POS Intel Integreated Graphics chipset) over the holidays, and it ran fine.

Oh, missed your x64 note the first read. [sarcasm] Well then, does ANYTHING run without problems in x64? [/sarcasm] Seriously, if you are gaming with x64 and expect no problems, then you are expecting too much. Maybe after Win7 SP2... aka Win2013

PC - because of mods, something the x-box version doesn't support.

SSSSHHHH! Do NOT educate the Console Fanboys! The player added free MOD content is not intended for click monkeys.

Though just between you and me, install the latest official patches. THEN install the unofficial player made patches, which fix things the publisher never paid the developer to fix, and will fix/restore/add things the console users will never have the luxury to experience. THEN depending on your play style, install the unofficial player made MODs which alter gameplay.

There are also player created savegame editors for the PC, which make it easy to "fix"/rearrange stats on your RPG charatcher to repair a gimped stat build (or to simply cheat since is YOUR single player campaign/storyline game and you can play it anyway you darn well please on a PC - not so on most console single player campaign/storyline games).

There's this one guy on here that has a ton of games installed on a 64-bit OS. Perhaps you should share your insight into the incompatibilities games have on a 64-bit OS with him.
