I can get another later, but i have slight system instability with this memory. I hate it. Heres a question though. I think I want OCZ platinum memory. The ddr400 has latency of 2 and the ddr500 has latency of 3. I know that 2 is better than 3, but will it inhibit o/c performance if i go with the ddr500 with the 3? Which is better for what i want to do?

DDR500 is guaranteed 250 mhz ram. Is that enough to get your processor where you want it? If not, then look for any ram that's been shown to have 250mhz+ OC capabilities, regardless of its factory rating.
