I have the Bose stock in my Maxima, kick-ass for stock system. I probably willnot upgrade for quite some time, because you have to replace the whole system, speakers and everything to upgrade.

My computer/radio has some cheap creative speakers with a sub.

That's wonderful. I bet it would sound like absolute garbage. If you plan on making something up, at least lie in a manner that will make us jealous.

<< Sony SA-WM40 12" driver--very good bang/buck for movies in a home theater system. Not so good for music, but saving money up for an SVS sub later this year. >>

Got the same sub. Used to be sucky for music until I stuffed the insides of a pillow inside it. Sounds great now.

I once caught a 18" largemouth in a pond behind my house.

Largest smallmouth was about 16" I'd say.

I have Altec Lansing ACS33 speakers, so I'm not too sure. Bass is sorta anemic.

<< Speakers: BOSE 301 Series II - max 120w RMS
Subwoofer: Rockford Fosgate 8" Punch - max 800w RMS

I currently don't have a dedicate amp for the sub, so both
the speaker and sub are running off of the same channels.
I'm using a cheap Pyramid PA-800x amp.

This is for my computer BTW.
>>

Um, not even RF's Punch DVC series have 800w RMS, especially in a 8" version.
>>

Ugh, I meant peak power. Sub say's 800w max power, but I wasn't thinking..

Oh we are listing HT bass as well? Try 2x Velodyne HGS-12s: 1250w RMS, 3000w peak. Having two of those bad boys on a wood floor and you're rocking! The only downside to the HGS-12 is the fact that it draws the electricity like crazy. Both of our Velodynes are on their own dedicated 20 amp breakers.

My PC is just hooked up into a set of Logitech Z340's, they do alright. I mostly just game on it.

My home theater system includes a PC (networked into my other systems so I can play all my mp3's, DVDs, etc) with a Live 5.1 hooked into a nicer Harman/Kardon receiver and 4 Cerwin-Vega E-715 (w/ 400W 15" subs) speaker towers.

Consumer grade, yes, but needless to say, it can knock pictures off the walls and sounds good too.

Mungla, I want to ban you from all stereo threads. I feel so inadequate after your posts. Please stay away you're ruining my self-esteem. ;)

My PC: Altec Lansing 2.1 setup with a halfway decent sub. Not bad for mp3s...
Home theater: Yamaha receiver/amp with Klipsch 5.1 setup w/monster sub. No idea on specs, but it *rocks*
Car: Bone stock Pontiac radio. Hey.. it'll never get stolen!

You guys have never tried that canned beef?

Mungla - that's still some crazy bass though. Just curious - how did you get it wired up to work on regular household current and all that other stuff?
