How much bandwidth does a game server use per month?

Just curious, saw a google ad on a page that said "Dedicated server for $59. 1 terabyte of bandwidth. blah blah blah"

How much would say a 1.6 or Source server go through in a month? I'm assuming it's AT LEAST a terabyte, probably more for a popular one.

Mods feel free to move if this is misplaced, doesn't really fit anywhere that I'm aware of.

Depends on amount of players/slots, how full the server is (full 24/7 or full only a few hours)... I would estimate about 500-800 GB?

Assuming it would be open for 15 hours, with an 18 player max, filled with 14 at any given time.

I'll just double the other guys rate for 1.6 and say it's 12Kb/s in Source. Now to do the math.

At that price, the server would be unmanaged, do you know how to manage one?

Also, either it's going to have a small HD and a slow cpu/memory/etc. or have some other downside. What company is offering this?

I'd bet that source uses more than 12kb/s.

Bandwidth should be your last concern right now. No $59 server, no matter how much you want it to, will be able to run a CS:S server with any decent number of slots.
