Only thing I download are TV shows. So depending on the day, maybe a gig. Each show is 350 megs in size so if there were 3 from the same day it'd be a hair over a gig.

My most bandwidth-intensive day since I started tracking was 18.8GB.

I average 2.1GB per day overall.

How are you guys measuring your used bandwidth? With all the talk of bandwidth caps, I have been interested in how much my family uses each month.

Usually between 1.5 and 2 gigs. It really depends on what my scrapers bring me.

Ever since I stopped using torrents for the bulk work and now use them only when I can't find a file I'm looking for, my bandwith usage has plummeted. It used to be over 150 gig a month consistently. No, it was not at all legal.

On average, probably a few GB per day. On a heavy day, I can easily download 40GB in one session in less than a few hours.

I love Optimum Boost. <3

EDIT: Oh and those are LEGIT, uses. We are not counting all my illegal bandwidth. I've had torrents going for days where I am downloading at 300kb/s constantly. Then my hard drive is full. :p And I consume it all. Yay!

DIAF Please. It seems every thread I go into lately is you bragging about all of your warez. This used to be ban worthy. What happened?

Checked my recent download stats, and I saw one download day max of about 23GB, and an upload day max of about 5.5GB.

Oh, and yes, that's mostly movies, and that will continue until they change the law on downloading in the Netherlands :D (It's not illegal here)

And before people start whining about downloading so many movies: If I like a movie I buy it. I have bought probably hundreds of movies this year alone.

I'd say less than 200 MB a day on average, or about 800 MB a day max if I watch a streaming Netflix movie that day.

5 gig a month, so under 200MB a day.

Most of that is from the occassional PS3 demo off of PSN store.

The only guage I have is that I rarely hit my per month limit of 30GB with easynews so my guess would be somewhere around 1GB or less per day.

Absolutely no idea and I wouldn't even know where to find this information.

On average, I download somewhere between 1 and 2 gigs a day.

I'd download more but there just aren't that many movies even worth bothering to download. Music, I pretty much have what I want already and haven't downloaded anything in quite a while. Games I'm just not interested in most of the new stuff since I'm using an older rig and don't like playing at less than high settings, and general software, while I do get some now and then, it really isn't that large to even quantify. The rest is just general internet use which doesn't amount to much.

While I don't have Comcast, their 250gb cap would be fine with me at this point. I suppose I could download uncompressed movie files instead of compressed avi and use more bandwidth but it's really unnecessary for me to do that right now.

I wish I knew how to easily and accurately keep track of this information but I don't. To do so properly would mean that I would need to have software which keeps track of all bandwidth being used by both of my computers, my 360, and my Wii. What would be the best is if I could install some kind of software that resides in my router instead of either of my computers since there is no guarantee that the computers will be turned on when either I or a member of my family starts using the 360 and downloads a 7GB HD movie rental. That or Comcast could make available via the web how much bandwidth I have currently used for that month as well as a history of previous months. Considering they are applying a cap starting in Oct. I feel that they should make this feature available, but they don't seem to care.

on average 1-2gb a day, unless I download something which can get up to 100gb if I download for 24 hours straight. Just downloaded 3.6gb in the past hour on a 5gb iso, and if this iso doesn't work, i'll have to download another 5gb today

I would guess 2-3GB, with an occasional spike or dead day.
Just anime and PSN demos and the like.

8.3GB per day
5.9MB per minute
0.098765432098765432098765432098765MB per second

Thats CONSTANT for 30 days you would need to sustain a 5.9MB per minute connection rate. So 1 MB every 10 seconds or about 100K a second for 30 days straight.

I think my math is somewhat right. Im fried

5gb a day when i'm dl'ing a ton of porn, maybe 1gb tops when i'm not

I would say 100-150gb a month as a high estimate.
