Right now, I'd say about $0. I have some student loans, but some stuff that can be sold (car, computer, etc). But if everything goes really well tomorrow, I'd say $3 million by spring. Very important deal hinges on impressions when people come by tomorrow to look at my work. Sorry no details will be given on pending contracts.
I see that you are also planning on finding a bag of money in the road tomorrow. It had better not be my bag. :|:|:|
Well I'd think the chance of finding (and keeping) a $3 million bag of money in the road is virtually zero. My chance of landing a deal is maybe 50%. So I perfer my chances.

Worth and owe are completely different concepts..In my case I would be worth a hell of alot more if I did not have two divorces.

I have a friend who had 50k saved up in the bank when he graduated college, he won a brand new car worth about 30k, and he was making 55k. He bought a house a few monthes ago and it was a repo so he got it for 225 but after upgrades its worht 260 now...the kids doing very well...

how do you save 50k while in college? was he a drug dealer?

Easy
1) get off anandtech and never post again
2) work
3) live in a frat house cheap (*cost me $280 a month) or with 4 dudes in a two bedroom and eat ramen noodles...

I was a 18month wonder in our armed forces and saved every single penny I made and started college after getting out with 15K in the bank. After college had well over 50K and owned a house I rented to my rommies which paid mortgage and I lived free.

You are aware that bank robbery is a manadatory sentence of 20 years aren't you... 😉

Hmmm, lets see.
170k house + 5k random stuff + 7k car + 6k in my 401k= 188k
- 145k mortgage - 65k student loans - 9k car loan - 2k other random debt
=
-33k

Well all I care about are the $20k I have in stocks... set aside for my wedding... hope I get a good return. 😉
for some reason I read that as "$20k in socks"

Guessing 200 to 300k between me and my wife, if we sold everything we had. A lot of those things we would never part with; some antiques with a lot of sentimental value worth quite a bit. I'd actually have to sit down and think about it longer to be sure.
