Not really sure. Actually I'm kinda worried right now, Comcast called today and the automated message asked for us to call them back. I wonder if this has anything to do with the 81.5 GB downloaded and 78.3 GB uploaded in the past 13 days.

$24.99 per month. Started in December and continues for 12 months. Been a loyal customer for years paying full price. I called and said I was going to switch to DSL simply because of price and they said that because I've been a loyal customer paying full price for years, they'd give me $25/mo for 12 months.

since we talking about internet, I still have my original 5yr old white Motorola CyberSurfr cable modem. It's old as dirt. IIRC Tampa Bay for the third rollout for high speed cable modems, i've been online ever since.

I'm getting screwed right now since the local cable provider has throttled my connection (so i have to use DSL).

DSL @ 2.5/640
$49.99 + $15 Cdn. service fee since i don't have a land phone line.

I got on broadband the summer of 98 but the original Comm 1 modem died two years ago.

Yup, like 50+, close to 60 after taxes and charges.

:( No FiOS here yet :(

It's okay, even at full price ($55), 6mbit/768kb is a good deal. I think we're paying closer to $20 a month right now though.

I got curious, cuz I thought maybe it has been longer. I found my original work order for Road Runner, 5/1/98. So it's been longer than I thought. And Im still using my original Motorola CyberSurfr
