how far have you guys successfully overclocked this card to?

and what would be a safe range?

does it matter if i use NVMAX or if i use the clock frequency capabilites in the Geforce2 "additional properties"?

Funny thing when I OC to 200/333 I get artifatcs while playing HL But Wheni bump it up to 212/350 no artifacts? Weird. But anyway I am running 212/350.

I just flashed the newest (regular) reference GTS BIOS, and it works fine 🙂

here version 3.15.01.02.00 is good Here

Rather than start a new topic, I think I'll just ask here 🙂 :

I just got a VisionTek GF3 Ti200 and was wondering what would be a good range to O/C it to. Thanks.

Edit ~ Nevermind, I got my answer in another topic. 🙂 It's at 200/460 now.

Running mine at regular GTS speeds (200/333). Haven't bothered to push it further as I feel my CPU is the bottleneck right now.

Overclock? How about an underclock? Just got mine.. Installed the latest detonators for xp, and whaddaya know? It crashes anytime I run a 3d app, anywhere from 10 seconds to 2 minutes into it... this box has been running flawlessly for ages, so I know its the card... hm. so sad, I had high hopes! I left it clocked at the 175/286 or whatever it defaulted to. Checked the fan, its running. Whatever. Back to newegg you go. I can sport an extra 20 bucks for a pro or something...

jmitchell- did you try a different driver set?? my GF3 would not play with the 21.83's, but runs flawlessly with 22.50's. Something to think about. How did you remove the old drivers??

actually, I did try the det 3's, and a couple of other versions of the drivers. I uninstalled in safe mode. As it turns out though, all I had to do was disable agp fast writes in my bios... (asus p3v4x) and all problems disappeared. I am now running on the latest detonators clocked to 210/340 with no artifacts. love it

I just recently acquired a second one. My old one was a Rev B, the new one is a Rec C. Both have been running at 200/333. I did replace the heatsink off the first one with a 486 HSF. This latest one is using the factory HSF, however I remounted it with thermal tape 'cause they did a sloppy job of gluing it on.

Got my plain GTS up to 225/400. Cooled w/ Blorb, Ramsinks and a 80MM Sunnon blowing on it from the side. I've had it to 225/410, but started getting choppy, so I backed it off. Getting 3890 in 3Dmark2001 @ 225/400.

hey guys, when you OC this card, did you guys mod the card in any way? Or just leave it as is and just boost up the juice on this card?

I switched out the cheap looking heatsink/fan for a blue orb. Mine is overclocked to 200(as anything over 200 really makes no difference) and 333 for the memory. I have an antec mid-tower case, with 3 case fans, 1 front, 2 rear, and my ps fan. The card ran the same though, in a stuffy little atx case with only a ps fan, and its original hsf.
