1) Men are told in every media format and every story that if you work hard, are a really good guy, and do great stuff for a woman in need: She will be yours. Then the guy holds up his end of the love-story but the woman has no interest at all.

2) Women's aesthetics are essential to the value people perceive of they have. Because of this a man never gets the 'free pass' of being the object of the desire of other men.

3) Because we're designed to ignore our intellect in an attempt to obtain a coupling no matter the circumstances, we often attribute the temptation to the woman herself instead of our own out-of-wack hormones.

4) There's a nostalgic trope of a man who got to drink some whiskey, smoke a cigar, slap the secretary's ass, and then take a nap on his office-couch from 1 to 3pm and that some how this "man card" has been taken away because girls ruined the club house.

5) Women have no idea that men are driven by their sexual strategy. So despite men being in positions of power, we feel like women still have the power to give (or not) the thing we've built this empire to obtain. No matter what side of the situation you are on, you are more likely to see your own circumstances and less likely to recognize someone else's.

That's a false paradigm. The author thinks there is this mythical war going on but it is not as big as he makes it out to be. And even if it were, true alpha males do not think in terms of victory or defeat. They just want what they want, and get what they want. It is the non-alphas that see things from this more ugly perspective.

And what we learned as kids is that we males are each owed, and will eventually be awarded, a beautiful woman.

I dont see that, and I do not see the author makign a compelling argument as to why he thinks men are this way. It is just stated as fact and this clearly is not so.

We were told this by every movie, TV show, novel, comic book, video game and song we encountered.

Oh, here we go. Now the truth comes out. So he is saying that people who let this pop culture program them their whole lives are finding it difficult to be a functioning adult. Well, duh. That's your own damn fault. That is television. It is make believe. You're not supposed to let it program you. Didnt anyone teach you this? Probably not....

A contract has been broken. These women, by exercising their own choices, are denying it to us.

Denying what? Why would she do that? Why would a woman want to deny true love, friendship etc. If your heart is in the right place, but her's is buried in her stupid iphone or she's pining for someone else who doesnt give a frack about her or whatever, then its her loss. It's not this earth shattering event this guy makes it out to be. It is a man's place to be shot down and shut out, to crash and burn over and over and over and over and still keep coming back for more. If he cant hack it he should get a sex change.

When that happens, when we get that boner at the funeral, we get mad at the girl showing the cleavage.

Smoke what? That is a bunch of nonsense. First of all, who gets mad about a boner? This guy as some serious personal issues he needs to resolve. Yes, I got a boner at a funeral when I was 16. And no, I didnt get mad. But that sort of thing isnt going to happen when giving a eulogy, no matter how much cleavage is showing in the front row.

And then at some point, women took it all away.

This is a completely false and erroneous view of history. Males are actually more empowered now than ever before in history. Men have always struggled to obtain mates. Through most of our history, if you mistreated a potential mate, you got shut out by all the women in your social circle. Now, none of that even exists any more. You can go where you want, say what you want. Now is the era of the bullshitter. The best bullshitter is the one who gets the girl. The best liar. The best con. But that's only true for the women who want to be conned. And those are easy to filter out, once you been around a time or two. This guy fails to realize the times we live in, probably because he has been too programmed and too overwhelmed. The following quote demonstrates that.

I'm not even going to disagree with this. I'd say its pretty much correct. But its not as overwhelming as he makes it out to be. You learn to deal with it. That is what makes a man into a good man or a bad man. It doesnt mean the whole world revolves around sex. Jesus. I constantly desire air. It doesnt mean my every thought and sole overarching purpose in life is to find oxygen. This guy really needs to grow up. I'm sorry you grew up in world where wall street made you into a product, and no one taught you how to be a man, and you couldnt figure it out for yourself. But you need to start thinking for yourself.

Well the birthrate is at all time lows so there aren't many men who are heads of a household anymore.

A good example is I have not dated white women in 25 years.
I even spurn women from india at work and they get livid.

They try to get even at work but they never met a white man who is buddist and does not care for worldly things or the flesh.

The only thing I am wrong in the above is for my mustang.

Because it's been less than 100 years since women have been able to vote for president. And a feeling of being victimized by those that you have social-power over is nearly universal, for example slave owners thought that they were put-uppon for having to feed and clothe all the un-grateful slaves.

And it's only been since the mid 70s that a woman could get a loan by her self.
