I'm looking through their Youtube channel and most of the videos are 1/3 downvotes. A lot of Mickey D's haters on the internet!
With the amount of hate McDonald's gets on the Internet, you'd think they'd be out of business. Considering the number of stores they have globally and amount of business they do, I'd say they're doing alright and it's just a bunch of loud mouths on the Internet.

They definitely were using slime in 2k12. GG waiting until now to do a video on how they're made, as though that were how it were done all along.

Pink slime is a beef product, genius. Also, that pic has been debunked as long as it has existed. Also, have you ever seen raw chicken? It's pink and it's slimy. I laugh every time someone complains about pink slime in their burgers because it's clear that they don't know that hamburger is the same reject meat as the pink slime, only from parts that didn't require disinfection. As if hamburger were supposed to be made from some grade A steak or something! :D

Sorry completely off-topic and maybe I am completely ignorant, but why type "2k12" instead of "2012"?

The guy on the radio this morning kept saying "Two thousand plus 13" to refer to 2013, which seemed strange to me too, so your "2k12" stood out..

Pink slime is illegal here in Canada as far as I know. It's possible they do use it in the states, but not sure.

It's nice that they actually show a tour of the factory though, basic statements like "no we don't do it that way" or "yes it's real meat" is hard to believe since of course a company is going to say that, but when they actually show the factory it's a bit harder to deny. I imagine if they wanted to stoop very low they could show some completely random factory, but considering they had to interact with people at that factory I'm sure the word would come out if it was faked.

I'm sure several of us here has been to McDeez in both Canada and US and can tell us how the nuggets compare across border. Are we gonna have threads saying Canadian McNuggets >> American McNuggets like we do with mexican coke vs american coke?

I saw another video (perhaps by the same people?) that shows how they photograph burgers for advertising. It's actually a lot more normal than you'd think. Not all the "hairspray" rumors everyone keeps repeating.

Edit: here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTelTe0cieg

That's interesting, always figured there was more to it than that. Never really had a problem with it, it's all psychological. When you order a cheeseburger and it does not "look" as good as the one in the commercials or ads, it's still appetizing because you can smell and taste it and you're not really that concerned about the looks. Typically if you take a picture of it as is, it's going to look "meh" so they have to dress it up a little. They especially need to perfect it for those commercials where they zoom right in and make it turn. Those commercials work, because I tend to want a burger.

Company posted a video, so it must be true.

I have doubts and now with reports of nuggets being made in China I doubt it will be long before McDs jumps the ship.

Are you actually accusing them of misrepresenting something? They wouldn't risk the company like that unless they were between a rock and a hard place. I don't see anyone twisting their arm. :colbert:

McD's meat is mostly nasty. It does not taste good and is questionably processed. I typically just get fries if I go there to hold me over before a real meal.

You can get better quality, better tasting food for less, elsewhere.

McDeez meet is fine. It can get nasty if you get one that's been sitting under the light for a while. But if you get it fresh, which they're happy to make for you at a request, it's pretty tasty. Of course the $1.29 mcdouble isn't going to compare to your $5 diner burger. But it's decent for the price. The mcnuggets are some of the best nuggets I've had anywhere IMO.

I bet the people complaining about eating slime and living in a soap bubble world doesn't even know how battery chickens are raised and slaughtered which is more disgusting by a magnitude.
