How many zombie movies do they think we want to see?

Don't forget the new one from the Dawn of the Dead group: Land of the Dead...it looks even worse, but at least they brought back George Romero for this one

i like zombies

any movie with zombies, pirates, vikings, ninjas, any of that stuff means a GREAT movie

This is going to end badly. The 'B' horror movie resurgence will begin with something like 'Blonde Zombie Bimbos'...

Zombie, 'Like, brains!'
Zombie #2, 'Blood red is the new pink!'

For some reason, that one looks interesting. 28 Days later, and all the Romero movies were kind of stupid because no explanation was ever given as to why all of it started happening. Resident Evil did, but it was kind of a rip off of Stephen King's the stand, but much more stupid (story wise) IMO. This one seems to be some mutant disease from space. I'll watch it.

BRAINS!!!! BRIIAAANNSSSS!!!!

*zombie raps knuckless against Geeklings head*

TOK TOK

BRAINS!!!! BRIIAAANNSSSS!!!!

Are you sure you watched the same 28 Days Later as the rest of us? I'm fairly certain it had something to do with genetic engineering on animals. It has been awhile since I last watched it though.

What's better than zombies?

Nothing. That's what.

Zombie Pirates? or possibly Zombie Ninjas? Or some sort of Zombie-Werewolf Ninja-Pirates?

They're all still zombies in my book.

Pirates of the Carribean, btw, was undead pirates... not really zombies per se, but pretty close.

Nice work with the Simpson's reference.

And actually Romero had a very good premise for his original Dawn of the Dead. It was to show America's consumerism with the creation of the Mall back in the day. All the zombie's congregating at the mall, showed us how society was changing from mom and pop shops to the mass strip malls of today

Yeah. I hope Undead is better than resident evil. I'm looking forward to Land just because of Romero's involvment, but I can't say I'm all that hopefull.

The knockoffs will abound. "Return of the Living Dead(s)" anyone?

They went there because it was familiar.

So you're saying you'd equate Zombie-Werewolf Ninja-Pirates with regualar plain ol' Zombies? What if they were Werewolf-Zombie Pirate-Ninjas?

The first 5 minutes of the movie set that up for us.

Nothing tops the original Dawn of the Dead. Especially the 2004 remake. The ending just absolutely ruined it.

28 Days later was unique as it was shot with digital video, and was one of the first to be done that way. Also, it tried more to capture the loneliness of the individual when everything is gone.

Yah, to me, the two coolest parts of that movie were:

1) When he first wakes up and goes outside of the hospital.

2) When he's lying on the ground staring at the sky and the plane flies overhead.
