How many years will it take for you to finish college? What is usually the average?

Man it's so bullsh!t when people say college is only 4 years. Realistically it's longer unless you know EXACTLY what you want to do before you enter college. I went to see my adviser today and it turns out I have another 2 years that's IF I cram like a wh0re with 7-8 classes a semester. I'm already in my 4th year of college. Man this bites.

Every one of my friends has graduated within 1-2 semesters of the 4 year average. Technically I've been at school for 5 years but that's b/c I took 3 semesters off.. To be honest I didn't even know what I wanted to do until this semester (chose psych) and I'll be out before the end of the year. So if you take into account the amount of units I have, I'm right on time. 🙂

God I hate Civil Engineering. Requires like a gazillion courses and a lot of them are only 1 or 2 units and there are soooooooooo many pre-req. Fuggin'. I'm also trying to get a teaching credential at the same time, which I'm most likely gonna use (C/E as backup) but I'm stressing so much about a degree I might not even use.

What is the EASIEST and FASTEST B.A?

see b0mberman, you're one of those wh0res that know what they want to do early on. i hate you!!!! i practically wasted 3 years of college and my life.

I am only gonna take 4 years max for my bs. I still gotta go to med school after I am finished with that. I even took most of this semester off (only go on tuesdays) and I will still be done ontime.

i think it's gonna take me 4 years. I'm still a freshman but i'm 95% sure i'm in the right major, and 99.9% sure I'm at least in the right department of my school.

4 years for me to graduate. thats better than like 65% of UT students. and i didn't pick a major until the start of my second year. then i added two more.

blow me, slacker.

3 years and two quarters i hope. if not, it'll be four.

but who knows how long afterwards...... law school... or grad school.....

I'm a second year student double majoring in Comp Sci and Information Tech. Looks like I'm gonna be here another 3 more years to finish my degrees. Thats if I dont fail any more cs courses, so hard!!!!!

4 years for my BS in Business Administration with an option in MIS, mainly because of intersession and summer classes.

after that it's probably grad school or i'm actually thinking of staying another couple years to get a teaching credential in english, so i've still got a whiles to go.

I will finish next May. Its a 4 year course, I started the course in 1998, part time. In 2000 I moved to full time study, so the course will take an extra 2 years 🙁

Edit: Typos galore today!

I'm at the end of my 3rd year now.... I figure I have 2-3 more as I'm moving onto my Bachelors in technology. As of right now I'm going for an associates, but I'm only taking 12 credits a semester so It's slow going...
