how many years apart is too much when it comes to loving someone?

i've always t held a view...
that age is just a number.
and i still do.

but... considering everything,
it seems like there might be a +/- figure on age.
well... at least when it comes to others' acceptance.

i'm just trying to figure out what number that is...
for people to feel comfortable.

i am almost 30... and happily single, and no kids.
i do think about the possibility of not being able to have kids
if she happens to be much older than i.

just wondering.

At age 30 i'd say 10 is max but if you were 20 that means the girl would be 10

just to make things a bit clearer...
how much older?

i've tried that whole younger thing...
and it didn't suit me too well.

+10years for every $100k in annual disposable income.

40 with $100k ADI = OK
50 with $200k ADI = OK
60 with $300k ADI= OK
80 with $500k ADI= perfect

Just kidding of course

The bottom is 1/2 * age + 7
The top is (age - 7) * 2

The younger you are, the closer you should be. No more than 2 years unless you're both over 30.

You start to get generational differences after 6 or 7 years. Had a girlfriend that left me for a "sugar daddy" that was 20 years older than her way before I got married. She came back after a few times meeting her parents and he was the same age as them heheheh. She said her parents and him were talking about the moon landing, LBJ, Viet Nam....etc. Heheheheh, I would have LOVED to have been in that room!

honestly, it depends where you are in life..that's why if you're a junior in college and she's a senior in high school it prolly won't work, you're just in two different places in your life. You could both say you love each other but what love means to the two of you is something completely different, you're almost wrapping up a journey in education, she's just about to begin a journey into freedom and adult hood. ( i know that this doesn't apply to you, just using it as an example).
