How many WU's do you produce a day from "HOME" only...?

About 27-28 from home. At work, my 733mhz Dell completes about 2 per day...🙁

6 machines at home.

1-dual PIII 933 running Redhat 8.0
1-PIII700 running Redhat 7.3 (Ham Radio DX Cluster)
1- 900 mhz running Win 98SE (game server, Q3)
1- 500 mhz running WinXP Home (wife's machine)
1-XP 2600+ running WinXP PRO (my machine!)
1-dual XP 1800+ running WinXP PRO (my son's machine), thanks Shuxclams!

Ready to upgrade wife's 500 to 1800+, as soon as she get's off it long
enough to put the parts in it. hahahahaha

Hay
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Do you mean with or with-out power outages 😕

About 15 per day average.

2 x P3's @1gig +

1 x P4 2.4b @ 2785mhz

Running 'em 24/7 (sometimes)

Right now I do about 60-65 per day from home alone.

Here is roughly my fleet, hard to remember from the ocean 😕

2xBarton 2500@2.0
2xTbred 2400@2.0
3xtbred 1700
pally 2100
2xpally 1600

More to come within the next few weeks, and a few to get overclocked when I get some pc3200 mem to replace all my 2100😉

Oh and for the electric bill, I don't know My wife takes care of all the bills and she hasn't complained yet (me crosses fingers!)

update on my p3 box, I've had it up and running again for about 2 days and checked the setilog, they are running between 5hr30min. and 5hr45min. I guess before the powersupply blew I must have had a bunch queue'd up that didn't finish properly. and I found the box the mobo came in. It's an ECS p6s5at with an sis635 chipset.

That's about right😉 ,actually their very good times ,easily matches the output from a BX chipset mbrd🙂

Interesting mbrd yours ,I didn't know SiS did a DDR chipset for the PIII😱 !,learn something new every day😉.That accounts for its good output ,btw if yours is the same revision as the above link then you can fit Tualatin CPUs to it ,the Tualatin Celerons are practically just PIIIs on a 100FSB & 0.13u ,they don't cost too much & they overclock to about 1.4-1.5+GHz😀

My fleet includes:

1 - AthlonXP 3200+ Barton
1 - AthlonXP 2500+ Barton
1 - AthlonXP 1800+
1 - Quad Xeon 2ghz Server

I crank out at my peak about 50-55 WU's.

Well thank you 🙂, I forgot I'm building another machine from spare parts sometime next week, that will be added to the fleet, will probably be a P4 2.53 or an AthlonXP 2200+ depending on which of the sets I decide on grabbing... Hmm come to think of it, i could build 2 new machines... hmm... might have to do that

I was doing on average 42 SETI WU a day.
I'm now doing on average 850 RC5-72 WU a day.

That will drop soon as I'm losing one machine to my aunt, and turning another into an Astaro Firewall.

About 32 / day from 3 AMD & 1 iNtel box.

Still amazes me how well that PIIIS does🙂 (its not overclocked anymore!?:Q)

Btw the new XP1700 I got was no better at all from my old XP1700 ,not even a little bit!🙁 ,so its gone in my 2nd rig which is now running at 1.88GHz instead of 1.8GHz ,knocked about another 6mins off WU times I think.

The HDD was having troubles, unrelated to overclocking I think but anyway just for absolute stability I stopped OCing it.
You get more WU's per day from a system that is always running stock speed than one that's OC'ed to the max but hangs a lot.
I'm in it for the WU per day.

Yeah, it does WU times like that at stock speed - not bad for a P3. That CUSL2-C mobo is a good one, using a Tually adapter really prolonged it's lifespan. Not to mention that I sold the old cpu that was in there for over half of what it cost me to put in the new one and adapter 😉

Nothing beats the deal I made with that slot-1 P3 1ghz tho...
Bought it for $100, used it for a few months then sold on ebay for $200 - used the profit to buy a refurb mobo & XP1700+ 😀😀😀

HOLY CRAP! :Q I have to get into this overclocking and get away from these ECS K7S5A mobos! :Q

Keep your eye open for killer deals on refurb mobos - the 8RDA+ can sometimes be picked up for about half retail.

Well that makes me feel somewhat better. I was getting ready to trade in my 2.4c for a p 3🙂

I had several PIII 1GHz systems that I sold for $100 each. I could have sold just the CPUs for more on eGAY but part of the deal was that they run SETI.

They are still contributing to this day. 😀

Yeah, it turns out the slot-1 1ghz chips were in demand for multiproc servers - end of the line for that kind of cpu.
The people on ebay who had the original intel box were getting closer to $300 for them. -loco 😉
The socket P3 1ghz never was worth much for resale - just the slot-1 with the 100mhz fsb ---- who woulda thought?
