How many WU's a day will a Celeron 2.2 push out?

I have a 1.2Celeron and over the last 288WUs I has averaged 9:59:30 according to SetiWatch.

Hard to believe the extra billion Hz only takes off 2 hours or so.

Speaking of Bartons, mine @ 12.5*173 (stupid Corsiar XMS) over the last 1078WUs has averaged 2:18:26 according to SetiWatch.

That's a really bad time for a 1.2GHz Cel!:Q (matches my 366@566!) ,my mate Gav was running a Cel 1.1A (until his VIA mbrd died very recently) & he was getting about 6.5hrs/WU ,average AR.When it was overclocked to 1.46GHz it was doing them in 5.5hrs🙂.

My son has a Cel 1.1A @1.38GHz on a BX mbrd & that does them in 5hrs!:Q😀

[edit]The Tualatin Celerons are pretty much just PIIIs in disguise, so they rock at SETI ,especially overclocked😀

How much time would a P4 OC'ed to 3.2Ghz with a 1GHz FSB and 512Kb of L2 cache take to do a WU? About double that with HT. 🙂

Here is what my 3.2GHz HT system does:

Smoke #01 Dell 400SC P4 3.2G HT (WS#2) 17.61 WU@Day Yesterday's WUs16 Today's WUs 17
Overal Average CPU Time 2h43m

Graphical or Command-Line client?

IMHO, the Command-Line client is the only way to go.

After I enjoyed the pretty graphics for a while I decided to use the CLIENT that produced the fastest results. 🙂
