You're right, but you're overthinking it. A FWD car shouldn't have wheelie bars in the first place.

Lol, and that bar holding the chute appears to be connected to the car with zip ties.

So much about that car just begs WHY? The big Street Scoop is a good example. Just...why? How'd he even mount the thing.

Actually real front wheel drive drag cars benefit greatly from aggressive wheelie bars, but its for leverage to keep weight/traction on the front wheels rather than to keep the car from flipping.

So at rest, they're sprung to be pushing into the ground? I get the concept, but I guess it just bothers me. Do any of them mount a big Top Fuel dragster style wing out over the hood?

This.

The bar doesn't have to be sprung to "preload" on the ground either. A wheelie bar on a FWD car works by contacting the ground when the car squats under takeoff (duh) thus increasing the effective wheelbase of the car. A longer wheelbase reduces rearward weight transfer, which keeps more weight on the drive wheels, which gives the car more traction.

Of all the things that are wrong with this colossal pile of failure, the wheelie bar (weight transfer bar?) isn't one of them.

This guy obviously worked hard to raise the ricer bar. He should be congratulated.

Is this supposed to be the opposite of a sleeper? If so, is there a word for that? Besides failure? Maybe...joker?

Sleeper car vs. Joker car.

I can't imagine the thought process going through this guys head.... There is a ton of money spend on that thing. He could have actually bought a decent car for what he spent on that rolling abomination.

It's unfortunate and unconscionable that this ineffectual cobbling of parts likely isn't fast enough to be construed as 'street racing' and will forever elude the befitting deliverance of a crusher.

There's nothing NINJA about the car, despite the NINJA license plate.

Unless by ninja, you mean a moron dressed in bright colors and bells dancing around who trips, hits his head on the pavement and dies at your feet.
