How many wings can you eat in one sitting?

I have eaten as many as 30, and could still have done more but my wife wouldnt let me order more for fear of being embarrassed. 😱

I only eat them about medium hotness, not deathly hot or anything.

How many can you put away?
 
Well, it depends on the restaurant.... I can eat about 25 smallish wings, and about 15 or so larger wings. I go for hot wings, but not atomic hot or anything like that.

I like them but have to stop when I hit a vein or gristle and get to grossed out to continue.... I was around chickens growing up and always get a mental picture of the mutilated wing attached to a live chicken....

Someone has to vivid an imagination for his own good.....

Had about 25 once. They were suicide hotness. My lips were numb for about a hour after eating them. Went through 3 dr. peppers. my 2 friends that I split the order with couldn't finish all of them.

Never had more than 12 any other time, I love wings but I never go have them as a meal.

I had a wing eatoff @ hooter's with a buddy..
I made it to 19 to his 20.. this was on 911 hotness (the HOTTEST possible).
It also included the ENTIRE wing (cartilage/gristle included)

I started going blind and I temporarily lost my hearing. A couple pints of Heineken cleared that up tho.
 
i've never attempted to eat more than 10 at any one time, but i'm sure i could eat at least 20, more if i was real hungry.

we have a wings buffet over at Virginia Tech... Sharkey's is the place..

my max amount is around 45 wings... (you can probably tell that i am overweight) hehe


but i really really like wings .. so...

last time i went i could only eat about 20 ... must be getting old..
 
1 if that. nope, i don't like wings. gotta be white meat. can't stand the greasy sloppy dark meat associated with wings. ewwwwww!

is it the whole, flapper/minidrumstick unit, defined as 1 "wing"
or are they split, creating 2 "wings"

i actually find it kina odd that bars sell 30 wings for x amount, when youre actually getting 30 wing pieces, and only 15 actual wings.
 
I would do 20 easily about once a month a few years ago. I haven't eaten wings in a long time, but I'm looking forward to getting some now. I just wish they were cleaner to eat.
 
I can only eat about 15 flats (I'm not into the drumsticks), maybe a few more if they're char-broiled BBQ or honey sesame. After seeing people eat more than 25 on here, I'm ashamed to call myself a buffalonian.

Hmm good point..I was about to brag that I once put away 50 wings but I guess in reality it was only 25. Beer makes the wings go down faster I think.
 
I can probably eat twenty... however I wouldn't enjoy the last 5 or 6. I'm usually comfortable with about 12 wings... after that i'm too full.

depends on the wings...the Denny's ones I like...some I don't (like the ones at the Chinese Resturaaunt down the street).

The place I get my wings from is the Hard Times Cafe. I ALWAYS go during happy hour and can get half price wings, and on Wednesday I get 20 cent wings. They used to have 10 cent wings but I guess they weren't making enough money
 
I have literally done 50+ twice...and I added Tabasco and this special little Indian hotsauce my mom makes. Believe me, unless you're doing it to impress someone, don't even bother. You WILL regret it. I certainly do. Why I did it the second time is beyond me however...
