I have about 15, but 10 of them are in each one of the 10 computers I use daily. one in each computer. Why would you have more than one for a single computer ?

1 PNY 6800 GT. I had a spare ATI Rage mobility card but I decided to destry it this last weekend because I was bored. It was a bad card anyways. In BIOS screen's and DOS is would have artifacts and I tried to use it the other day in my parents system and it had the artifacts in windows too so I killed it with a wrench and some pliers.

I sell my cards I don't use anymore while they are still worth money.

just one. Radeon 9600.

depending on how well it runs The Sims 2, I might buy a new card, in which case my old one would go to charity (aka: my roommate).

PCI Radeon 32MB (7200) (spare)
Radeon 8500LE 64MB (Dad's system)
GeForce4 Ti4600 (dying)
Mobility Radeon 9600 64MB (laptop)
GeForceFX 5900XT (second PC)
GeForce 6800GT (main PC)

As of right now,

Leadtek 6800 GT
Gigabyte 5950 ultra (VIVO)
Sapphire 9800 pro 128mb
Creative Geforce 256 DDR (32mb)
Geforce 2 MX400 /w TV out (64mb)

Why do we need so many Vid cards..??

What do you use them all for???

I guess i have one for every occasion..LOL

i have one for every single pixel of my monitor 🙂

Two. I just replaced a Diamond Stealth III S540 Savage 4 (32MB) with a dualhead Matrox Millennium G450 LX (16MB). I do no gaming, so I need nothing more.

I use to save all of my old cards, now I just keep a single PCI card as a backup and toss out the rest.

One AGP - 9800XT and one PCI (8 MB) for emergencies.

I just sold my Radeon 8500-128MB to a fellow ATer . . . I don't "save" the old ones . . . why?

Three at the moment.

I sell my old ones, as i see no need to keep a stash of them.
