how many use paypal?

I have a question. Does anyone use the paypal feature where you can use the money in your account to buy from online stores? I heard they send you a permenate CC number through email that you can use as say a mastercard or visa(which ever it is). If this is true does it work good and is it safe? This sounds like a nice feature since I ain't got a CC and all.

I have actually decided to stop using paypal. In process of emptying it out and deleting my acct. information as we speak. The more I read about the company, the less I feel safe leaving my money in their hands.

I use them all the time. It makes selling/buying things on here easier for me. Plus I have the Paypal Debit card, which I can use anywhere and get 1.5% cash back on. I have been using Paypal for over two years and have never had a probelm with them.
