I was just thinking about all the USB sticks I have and how I'm running out of room on all of them and thought I should buy another. LOL! What I should do is consolidate everything to one of the partitions I have on my 1 TB drive. But I own now 4 USB sticks. The largest is two of them of 16 GB. I should see about a 128 GB stick.

Does this count USB card readers/cards? I use more of those than general sticks. Speaking purely of dedicated sticks, I have about 6. I don't use them often, but when I need one, I really need one.

I just counted, and I own 9. I gave two 2GB sticks away last week too. The rest are all 8GB or 16GB.

I have one, girlfriend has one. Don't need more than that. I probably still have my old 1gb sitting in a drawer somewhere but its useless due to transfer speeds

I seriously need to put them all in a single location. When I need one, I buy another.

Every size from 512MB to 16GB.

Argh!

Dare I ask how many ethernet and USB cables you have? In what colors/sizes?

I bought like 30+ 14' ethernet cables off some guy on CL some time ago. (Cat5e, each individually sealed in new packaging.) Then, I bought 10 more a couple of times from monoprice.

USB cables, not so many. I bought a few retail-packaged ones somewhere, maybe at a dollar store, to resell at the MIT Flea. I also bought 50 USB2.0 A to B cables at the MIT Flea from some guy a few years back, he had literally boxes of them selling for $0.10 ea. I was selling them for the next year or two there for $1-2 ea. I think I saved like 5 of them. They were nicely shielded, I think that they came from external CD-RW drive packages.

What you should really ask me about, is fans... :p
Edit: Can't find my 80mm bulk fans purchase Hot Deal thread. :(

Found one where I mentioned buying a 100pc bulk lot of SATA cables though:

2, 2 too many. Have no use for them. I think maybe if I were still in school because that was the last time I needed to burn CDs or write to floppies to hold data.

Oh maybe for going to Walgreens to print pics. That's about it, but even that I can upload on their website and just show up for pick up.

3, all given to me by former employer. Well actually one was a coworkers, still has his name written on it.

More into SD and MicroSD. Those I have a bunch of.

I voted two. I probably have ten or more floating around the house but have two on my keyring. One USB2 and a new USB3, just waiting to make sure it's reliable before moving over everything to the new one.

I have a small external USB wired 128 gig SSD drive that I use in place of typical USB sticks. It's easy to find, plenty of storage and just as fast.
