How many TV channels do you actually watch?

One day I was really bored and looking at that TV Guide channel. I saw something that was on one of the Expanded Basic channels (I only pay for Basic) and thought WTH...and switched to the Cartoon Network. To my surprise, it worked! I didn't previously get all those extra channels but for some reason, now I did.

A little over a week ago, the cable guy came and stole my cable while I was asleep. Today, he came back to turn it on again. Now, I'm back to regular 32ish-channel Basic instead of the 70ish-channel Expanded I was getting for the Basic price. :(

I asked what the price difference was between the two and Expanded was $30 more! Uhhh..no thanks. I don't think that $30/month more is worth it to me considering the only channels I will even miss are the Cartoon Network and WGN.

So, to answer my own question...

I watch FOX/UPN (whatever the hell it is that shows the Simpsons/reruns), sometimes the Discovery Channel, and very rarely I watch E!

How about you?

I don't watch TV.

The only video sources I have connected to my TV are my DVD player and my roommate's VCR since he has a lot of movies on VHS.

1) NBC for Law and Order and new episodes of Friends
2) UPN-50 for old episodes of Friends
3) Speedvision for mechanic shows and car-shows, as well as motorcycle racing.

that's it

Not a whole lot. I watch TLC, Discovery, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, Fox Sports, MTV sometimes, and VH1 sometimes. If there's a movie on TBS or TNT or something like that, I might watch that, but mostly it's just the sports or learning channels.

haha. okay, i guess that is an okay show. its funny, in that weird kind of way.
I think I like it because in a way, I can relate to it. Mr. Crabs is exactly like my ex-boss (only my ex-boss is not funny).

The only reason I even have cable is because I live in a crap reception area. :|
Oh well, at least the cable comes in nice and clear and it's only about $9 a month.
