How many toys/figures are too many?

Alright I'll admit I'm pretty immature. I have a soft spot for video games, comic books and toys. Laugh all you want.

Here's the thing. Right now on my home desk I have two Mighty Muggs. This is a concession to my nerddom. However there is a third toy that is pretty large (12" x 12") and I want it really badly. Do you think if I ditch the two Muggs in favor of the one large toy I'm good to go or is just having one large figure enough as it is? It's a Super Mario toy so it's not TOO nerdy I guess.

What if I keep the two Muggs and throw them on top of my bookcase? Oh...and these are coming out of the box. I'm not that into collecting or anything.

Do you have a girlfriend/SO?

My SO likes to collect toys/figures as well, so I have a good bit. That said, if you don't have a girlfriend or anything, more than a couple (or for some any at all) figures may make her wary.

Yeah. The girl I just broke up with didn't seem to mind the toys at all and actually used to pick up and play with one of them all the time. She actually ended up buying a Mugg on her own and then preordered the Spider-Man with removable mask.

The girl I'm with now has poked fun of me for it a bit but she's got a huge stuffed animal collection. When I pointed that out she just kind of blushed and shut up about it.

Did you then assume a stance of dominance?

If that's code for sexy time, then yes.

Which huge Optimus? Do you mean that voice-changing mask thing or something else?

It's a truck that turns into an octopus.

There's nothing wrong with collecting toys. I'm 40, and I'd love to have a doll of my avatar(Tamika) in UT2k4.

Last time I was in a figure store I saw this bad boy and almost bought it. Thing is huge, and semi rare.

I was short on money though, so I couldn't afford to buy frivolous things.
