How many times have you reinstalled vista?

First install, dual booting XP and Vista. I had a hard time installing Vista until I discovered that the install error I kept getting was because I had a bad stick of RAM. Since fixing that, everything has been super smooth. No hardware conflicts (and there are native drivers for my Chaintech Envy based card that worked with no tinkering, which was a nice surprise).

Only issue I've had is that when switching users, the mouse speed will sometimes change to the lowest speed. This is very annoying, as it takes awhile to move the pointer around on the lowest speed setting to open the ctl panel and reset it correcctly. I do have the latest version of Logitech Setpoint Drivers for my mouse and keyboard, but I don't know if there's any conflict.

Cheers,

2nd time around on my laptop because I couldn't and still can't get Python IDLE working. The desktop has been chugging along happily since about December.

First install so far on 2 computers with Home Premium 32bit (getting ready to change that to 64bit version.) Have not activated yet on either machine.

The only problem I have had so far is drivers for the Sigmatel onboard audio and 5.1 sound setup, and 7900GT drivers scrambled screen after seep mode and in games with the ctl-alt-dlt/down arrow/enter fix problem.

I have not gone through the Nero 6 or 7 version trouble yet, and have used WMP11 to rip some cd's and burn a couple to listen to at work.

I have not gone through the Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS install yet on one of the computers. I am not liking the Sigmatel onboard audio. It sounds tinny no matter how much subwoofer I add, and the rear channel output is way weak so far.
