How many times have you dropped your smartphone?

had a storm for almost 2 years now and I drop it nearly daily, a lot of the black paint is scratched off, there are dings all over the back, but the screen is fine and it still works...if a storm ever really worked well...

I had so many issues with mine that I am glad I broke it.

Over a year I dropped my N82 3 times on concrete. Yikes! Probably another 4-5 times on the ground, although those didn't cause cosmetic damage.

I dropped my Droid once or twice on the ground, but we're talking office floor and nothing where the battery flies out like my other phones. I've always had a case on my Droid til now.

The iPod Touch can act like an iPhone essentially. I dropped that many times til the bottom part of the case (near the protector) shattered. I had an incase slider case so tahts 2 halves. The bottom half and the main compartment. The bottom part that snaps the case close shattered so I just threw it out after a while.

I've dropped my Nokia E71 hundreds of times over the last two years and it still works great.

That is no doubt the toughest smartphone ever built.

dropped it on the floor at school when i didnt realize it was there on my jacket, and it cracked my seido case

I don't think I've ever dropped my HTC Touch Pro... have had it since summer of 2008.

haven't dropped my beautiful new 9700 yet *cross fingers*

Dropped my Bold too many times - prob just clumsy. Hit the pavement hard and most of the time, the BB goes one way, the battery cover goes another, and the battery itself yet a different direction. The corners are all banged up but it still works great. Gotta hand it to RIM, they build these things pretty tough.
