3 Speeding tickets.
Ran a stop sign accidentally when I was just starting out.
Ran one intentionally when I was messing arround once at 3am.
Pulled over for a few no front plates.
Pulled over A LOT of expired reg.

I voted 10-15, but it could be more.

Luckly I only have 2 points on my record.
Did traffic school for one of the speeding tickets. Never got a ticket for the first stop sign, he let me off cus I was still on my permit. Second stop sign he got a call while dealing with me and had to let me go (so lucky 🙂)

Twice, once for going 78 in a 55, the other was Friday night because the cop thought I was drunk. Pulled me over and asked how many I had to drink, I told him that I don't drink and asked if I was free to go. He said drive safely and got back in his car. *shrugs*

I've been driving for 13 years, and have had the following violations so far:

4 $150 speeding tickets (Most of them doing 80+ on an 55/65 highway. Radar detectors are useless at that speed!)
1 $100 Wrong Way on a One Way (It was pouring, didn't see the sign)
1 $100 Expired Inspection Sticker (I had just moved, and didn't get a chance to change it yet)
1 $25 No Seat Belt Infraction (OK, that one was just stupid 🙂 )

Most of them were out of state tickets, so my record is clean and my insurance is still cheap. WooHoo!

6 years driving, pulled over 0 times.

I don't count the time that me and my friend were messing around and ended up in a ditch. The jerkoff whose phone we used to get a tow truck called the cops, too. We just got warned about "not adjusting driving to accomodate dangerous road conditions"---on a clear, sunny day---but I didn't get pulled over.

I live in rural small town America now where the primary source of income for these little towns is tickets so I have been getting pulled over nearly evertime I am out driving now.

I use my cruise control religiously set almost 5 miles hour under the speed limit at all times.

I have now become the slow asshole the road everyone hates including myself but I still get pulled over for alledgedly speeding all the time.

I am now running my video camera when coming into every small town showing the speedometer so when the next cop pulls me over I have video evidence against their nefarious revenue generating bullsh!t.

your speedometer doesn't prove anything.

i had a ford taurus that said i was going 10 km/h slower than i really was.

Okay so your saying everyone should get a speedometer calibration and certificate?

The police should show you a certification from the radar unit then as well.

Where do you suggest I get this certification for my min-van which is apparently 10 mph off according to you?

only once, got off without a ticket thank god. Was going 40 in a 25. Granted I've only been driving for about 20 months.

Friends say I am very pedant about laws, I drive 34-37 in 35mph zone.
They go over 40.

Pedant is a noun, you mean pedantic. 😉

I've been pulled over more than 10 times, not sure of the exact count.

I've gotten tickets for:
72 in a 65
Disregarding a stop sign
Expired registration (not my fault, not my vehicle)
Careless driving (I really deserved that one)
"Improper display" for leaving my old plates on the car 4 months after I got my new plates (and the old ones thus became invalid)

Edit: 8 years

i have been pulled over about 12 times.

in tickets
4-5 speeding tickets
2 for outdated tags (been pulled over 4 diffrent years for it. i just forget to get new tags heh)

the rest are i either get warnings (no tickets in the last 10 years) or a mistake.

one of the speeding tickets i took to court and won. I was driving through a little town but stoped to get a coffee and stuff from McDonalds. anyway i pulled out and then seen a cop fly around a few cars. he pulled me over. He claimed i was on a road doing 45 in a 25. gave me a ticket. i tried to s how him it could not be me since i sat in Mcdonalds for 15 minutes. he refused to look at the reciept.

so went to court showed the judge th reciept and the ticket and the cop admited he could have made a mistake. so it was dismissed.

the other ones i was speeding so got court supervision and paid the fine heh

Once... by military police on an air force base for going 3 times the speed limit. I was so terrified they let me go with a warning.

Once - I was on the BQE just before the Verazano bridge and there was a speed trap set up that day. I got a ticket for 74 in a 45 (since the speed limit drops by 10mph just before the bridge).

Edit: I've been driving for the past 2 years.

the raw number without including the time (over how many years) isn't that interesting. new poll!

30/11 is 2.7 times per year average

i have been pulled over about 6 times (as best i can remember) in 25 years of driving, or .24 times per year average

Only 3 that I can think of.

Red Light when I was 18
Stop Sign rolling stop in my 20s
Following too close late 20s
