How many times have you been pulled over?

I've been pulled over 30 times in the 11 years i've been driving. I've only had 3 tickets (none in the last 4 years).

Most of that was on my streetbike for minor stuff, but i was very nice and they usually just gave me warnings b/c I didnt run and admitted i was wrong.

There were a few major things i couldn't believe i didn't get cited for though... guess i've just been really lucky.

What you, how many times you been pulled?

In my 3/4ths year of driving, 0.
Friends say I am very pedant about laws, I drive 34-37 in 35mph zone.
They go over 40.

At least 10-15 times. Although got out of the last 5 or so just being active duty military or because I'm an MP.

I believe I've been pulled over somewhere around 8 or 9 times, and have been given a ticket on all but three of those occasions in my 11 years of driving.

Having driven oversize loads much of my life, I've been pulled over numerous times, often by the commercial officer hoping to catch me without the correct permit, or in the incorrect configuration...(never happened) and at numerous scales for the same thing...In over 30 years and approx 500K miles, I've had 3 tickets; 2 that were owner responsibliity, ONE that was my fault. (3rd lane violation in Kahleeforneeya) In my personal vehicles, (different driving record with DMV) I've had 2 speeding tickets, and ONE failure to yield, (after the other driver waved me out of a driveway, and the cop didn't see that...dismissed in court)

Once going 96 in a 65, but drove 4 hours to NH and apologized to the trooper and with a little bit of luck got it dropped to a 90 in a 65.

Though I have been pulled over in other peoples vehicles. Let's just say I got away with some ******.

In my small hometown I used to get pulled over all the time b/c I drove a mustang. Usually at least once a week for demonstration of speed, tinted windows, too loud, or the whole "we had a white car stolen that looked just like your black one" routine.

Now when I drive my sedan with my son in the back not even once.

I live in rural small town America now where the primary source of income for these little towns is tickets so I have been getting pulled over nearly evertime I am out driving now.

I use my cruise control religiously set almost 5 miles hour under the speed limit at all times.

I have now become the slow asshole the road everyone hates including myself but I still get pulled over for alledgedly speeding all the time.

I am now running my video camera when coming into every small town showing the speedometer so when the next cop pulls me over I have video evidence against their nefarious revenue generating bullsh!t.

Once for going 55 in a 40. I got off with a warning. I was pulled over right before a 50mph sign, so maybe he was a little more forgiving.

twice in 8 years. Once for 83 in a 55.. got it reduced to 65 in court. The other for 41 in a 25.. got it reduced to 35 in court.

I love the cops in my University town in Bloomington, Indiana. Cops pulled me over yesterday because I accidentally ran a flashing red light and did not stop for it. The cop saw that I had a clean record ever since I got a license, gave me a warning, even smiled and talked about the whether and our graduation ceremony and let me go, congratulating me.
P.S. he was a state cop, came down for extra security this weekend!

4 in 4 years... 0 in the past 2 years, but the last time I got pulled over it was twice in one day (in different parts of the state).

Pulled over 3 times, all 3 times I had an offense worth going to jail for TBH (speeding 35 miles over the limit or more!), got a ticket once, drove away with a warning once & one time it turned out the officer was a close buddy of my uncle so I drove away with nothing but an oral warning not even a warning on the system 😀 (otherwise it could have been $150+ easily 🙁)

Pulled over once for going 74 in a 50($115 and 6 points). My court date is the 22nd, but I need to get a continuance since im away at college. The cop got my car color wrong as well as the location, so I am hoping to get it kicked, or at least deferred as I dont want my insurance rates to go through the roof.

your speedometer doesn't prove anything. i had a ford taurus that said i was going 10 km/h slower than i really was.
