How many times can someone bump their own thread?

In OT I really don't think there is a limit. But if he or she is excessively bumping the thread every few minutes then I think mods will step in. I know in the for sale/trade forum it's once every four hours.

I was under the impression that the four hour rule was applicable to all forums (or at least, I think it should be, if it isn't).

I was once told something like twice in a twelve hour period.

AFAIK, the 4 hours only applies in FS/T. In the other forums, it seems to me it's a subjective call for which ever Mods sees it.
