Never, unless "Alt+F5" counts, in which case about once or twice in an average day.

Um, what does it do. When I play CS it's bound to my "Buy m4a1 and primary ammo;helmet and vest". Is there another function to it.

F5 = refresh

Quite a bit ~20+

F5 is the standard windows command to refresh, It refreshes Internet Exploerer, Windows Explorer and even the windows desktop.

I'll say around 50 times. Refreshes just about any window, is my away hotkey in certain programs, is bound to either quick save or a talk bind in most games also.

I could take it out of my keyboard and it'd make no difference.

 

3 or 4 while at work, for directories and stuff like that
for IE, i just ctrl + r - no reaching involved

I don't think I ever hit the f5 key, I'm still looking for that elusive "any key" and where the hell is my TAB soda ?, I hit that key 5 times a day and it's still a no show.
