For what it's worth, I went to the biggest public school in Philadelphia that had similar enrollment numbers at the time but still only graduated with a class size of about 700. Not saying shens but over 1000 does seem far fetched, let alone 1200.

Sounds like your school had absurdly high drop-out and failure rates.

5 and no, im not kidding. We were the smallest high school in our city of 100,000+ with only 100 students at most. We started out at 50 students my freshman year and were down to 5 by the time graduation came. Needless to say, it was rather easy for me to run away with valedictorian.

Maybe you missed the 97% of students bound for college part.

I graduated from here. To be fair it's technically 3 high schools (2 when I was there) that share academic programs but have separate sports teams. Total enrollment now is ~6000, when I was there the combined graduating class was ~1300.

Affirmative.

I had about 600... All I remember is there were several people who graduated that I never had even heard of... (probably about 4-5) I was pretty sure I knew everyone in my class as well. I think a few of the unknowns were home schooled or something.

140 ish
bumblefuck NY

and i LOL at all those at 500+

i think my college graduating class was only about 600

i think 580 or so out of the original 700, largest high school in north dakota afaik.

we set the record for highest dropout rate, which has since been broken twice in five years, mainly due to a terrible new principal. Starting next year the school will have two athletics programs and in 2011 a new highschool opens.

roughly 1200, I remember the school across town (Plano HS) had the largest graduating class in TX somewhere around 1400-1500 IIRC. graduation was long as hell...

Damn, I thought I had everyone beat, but you got it. There were 20 in my class, small private school, probably the smallest class.

66. Small private school FTW! In total there were ~250 kids in the Upper school and ~800 kids total K-12.

Class of '11, woot!

On that note, a high school in our area only had 30% of their seniors graduate this year. I dunno if they're an anomaly or not, but I'm certain our high school's graduate-rate was much higher than that.

14

Small private school with a Freshmen to Senior total of around 60.
We had a graduating class of 6 or 7 one year.
Like I said, small private school.
