How many shots of Tequila can you handle?

I don't drink tequilla anymore.
The several times I did, I either woke up naked, or I woke up with my shorts on but with my boxers missing.
When I did do it, probably about 20-25 shots over the night, if not more.

16 (1/2 bottle) over the course of a night is my MO. More than that and I'm delving into hangover territory, which, considering the point of drinking is to enjoy myself, is somewhere I don't want to go.

Hmm ... I'm not a shot drinker usually.
Last time I had tequilla, it was after drinking 5 big glasses with 50% jim beam, and 50% pepsi, as well as 2 gin'n'tonics (50% tenquerray and 50% tonic) and 3 beers (2 x stella artois, 1 x Linies Red). I only did 1 shot, but that was enough for me. My stomache just doesn't like Tequilla. (Note: I was a bit intoxicated, but not drunk, and didn't have a hangover or get sick at all from it.)
Now I can drink Margaritas all day long, my record on those is 14 (about 16oz sized) at a bar in Danville Illinois (Went down there for buisness, aside from working 10 hours per day, there's not too much else to do in town.) I was awake the next morning at 6:30 and I went to breakfast with my fellow co-workers. No hangover.
