How many shots of Tequila can you handle?

Danville Illinois (Went down there for buisness, aside from working 10 hours per day, there's not too much else to do in town.)

I CAN MOST CERTAINLY ATTEST TO THIS...I WAS THERE TWO WEEKS AGO....lots of trains, and a big boys and at POTASH STATION

Jose Cuervo does not constitute "good tequila" by any reckoning.

edit: I can do 5-6 sipped, straight shots before I get a good buzz.

Depends on the brand of tequila. If it's Jose, not many. When I'm at home though and put one on, it's Cabo Wabo Anejo all the way. I can put down quite a bit of that over the course of a night, possibly an entire bottle - although I haven't done that as of yet.

I can drink tequila all day long but I don't drink enough to get drunk. Those days are long gone and a pleasant buzz is enough for me.

You're thinking of Montezuma. It actually comes in a plastic jug just like Skol or Barton vodka. Cuervo is at least tolerable.

I've never done this with tequila.. but judging from my drinking history I would guess 20. Who knows how many until I'm at the brink of alcohol poisoning, but definately 20 if I don't want to puke

i mean 100 percent pure blue agave tequila, and i still need a lemon and some salt.
my palate doesn't like the taste of it

I bought a 750ml bottle of Jose Cuervo back on May 5th and I still have about 60% of it left... after a couple shots I just get sleepy.

Jose Cuervo is not a bad brand of tequila but it is fairly cheap. I like that stuff with the worm in it best (Monte Alban) but it's kinda pricey.

I prefer beer or while over hard liquor. :beer:

You're thinking of Montezuma. It actually comes in a plastic jug just like Skol or Barton vodka. Cuervo is at least tolerable.

Don't put down Montezuma... while it does go down a bit harsh, it's very clean for such a cheap liquor. Most liquor in that price range will have you flirting with a hangover if you drink enough of it to have fun, but I've never had a problem with Monty.

I don't know how many I can "handle" because I hate Tequila, so I never drink it.

I don't really like taking shots anyway (give me a good beer), but if I do drink Hard Alcohol it is most likely Vodka.
