I got about the same with cartridges in terms of quality shaves. But I kept using the cartridges well beyond that because they are 10x as expensive as DE blades are.

i use a mach3 and can get about a weeks worth of shaving...if i shave every day it lasts about a week, and if i shave every 2-3 days...well it lasts about a week.

When I used Mach 3's I would use them until the aloe strip was gone (maybe about 9 uses).

I use Schick Quatro Titanium blades now and have been using the same razor head for over a month (I shave twice a week).

I use mach3 for a couple/few months. Or until I notice that it doesn't cut that well anymore (it tugs at the hairs). I make sure to the blades are dry after shaving.

Way over 13. I use Gillette Good News, get 'em at Costco once every 1/2 dozen Blue Moons. Cheap, they do a good job, last a long time. Best bang for the buck, is what they seem to be. Almost never shave except right after drying myself off after taking a shower. Shaving's easiest then.

Until I can feel stubble after shaving. Probably 20 times. My facial hair grows crazy fast, it is 1 PM and I already have stubble. I shave in the morning, and if I am going out, again before that. I use a mach3 BTW. I have tried tons of other razors, and like the mach3 the best, it stays sharper longer.

Yes I use both.

What am I supposed to do? My face gets torn up if I use it more than once.

It's normally pretty rough before I get around to shaving too. fiveish days.

If you are using both sides per shave it makes sense. I was picturing you shaving with one edge then tossing it.

What blades do you use? I get more shaves out of Feather blades than most others. Maybe worth a shot.

I was getting about 4 or 5 out of Mach 3 before I ditched it for DE. I get about the same with my DE blades now, but they are 0.20 each and the shave is generally closer.
