Yes

yea its correct if you like weak ass fvcking coffee

i usially do about 6 heaping ones for 10-12 cups

see, i think this is the problem in an office setting.
the strong coffee people are very...outspoken about how things need to be.
and the weak coffee people seem a little more hesitant to speak up.

but the weak people can dilute...its alot harder the other way around.
that said, i BMOC.

I'm an avid coffee drinker. I can take two pots to myself in a matter of hours. I think strong coffee is much better than weak coffee, but I find that 1 scoop for every 3 cups is perfect. ~_~

exactly. and its not just weak, when you overextract grounds you get all the nasty flavours better left in the grounds, its just not dilluted

it's all relative to your beans and the taste you prefer. 3-4 works for about 10 cups. If you like it stronger...then make it with more. I usually use 4 scoops when I use 12 cups, strong enough for me...and it tastes good.

😕
No, I don't like weak coffee. Seems to me 6 scoops for 10-12 cups would be weaker than 10-12 scoops for 10-12 cups.

Thanks a friggin lot. I expected this thread to end, once and for all, my inadequacies in the kitchen. Now, I'm more confused than ever. I'll just have to do the manly thing and say, "wife, go fetch me some coffee." 😛 😉
(Actually, she's the one who complains about my coffee being too strong - I don't have a problem with it.)

when i make 6 cups of coffee, i use about 4-5 scoops.

dont know how you think 4 would work for 10 cups, thats like brown water.

It all depends on the size of the spoon. 😛

most coffee comes with the same size scoop...

My parents use two scoops for a pot of coffee. 12 cups. I don't drink coffee, so I couldn't care less how it tastes.
