There are a number of republican senate seats in jeopardy. How many do you think will loose to democrats. Balance is now 53 (R), 45 (D), and 2 (I). Media likes to pick 10 in trouble, 6+ loosing would be a good outcome, changing the balance to 47/51/2. 10 or more would be awesome.

What are your top picks to be sent home? Which would really put a grin on your face when they lose?

#1 on my list is Leningrad Lindsey.
#2 is Tom Tillis, and I had the privileged of voting for his opponent.
#3 is Moscow Mitch, though he may survive.
#4 is Joni Earnst, who didn't have a clue what farmers got for soybeans.
.... and the rest of them.

Leningrad Lindsey and Moscow Mitch losing would mean a Republican wipe out resulting in the Democrats' doing nothing for two years waiting for the Republicans winning back the Senate and their giving more away to 1/2 of 1 percent. Dems will be lucky to get a 50/50 senate split.

I think the senate will be a narrow democratic win. Mcsally in arizona, cunningham in NC, and hickenlooper in colorado are sure pickups. Jones in alabama is probable loss, though you never know. Everything else is a toss up or lean republican: Maine, iowa, alaska, SC are toss up. Georgia, kansas, montana are lean republican though oddly vs close. Assume that all the 50/50 and lean races are just 50/50 and its going to probably be a narrow democratic majority. I would bet 51 or 52 seats dems

How many? Hopefully enough. I'd love to see every Trump humping Republican get booted, but I'd be okay with 5 losing their jobs.

51(D)+2(I) - 47(R)

Maybe Rmoney wants a Chair and flips shortly after the election.

I feel bad for Doug Jones already...
He only won last time because for Alabama voters, pedophiles are just slightly too much. And I mean just slightly.

Now, conmen? Alabamans love conmen. Tuberville is sprinting away with this one.

Seems in Alabama it's hard to separate pedophilia and incest. They like them young, and in the family.

I wouldnt feel too bad for Jones. I think he's going to end up in a Biden cabinet. He's very talented and well liked nationally.

I would hate being stuck in Alabama and I'm a straight white guy. I can only imagine what it's like for anybody else.

Dems will pick up just enough seats to have a majority, but barely.

I think they can get to 52. I think 58 is fantasy but if the national environment is more dem+10 than dem+8, it might happen. Then Graham is likely toast, Cornyn and Marshall are in trouble, both seats in GA.

Possible, but unlikely.

Whatever the number, it's not enough.

Hoping for 52 at least, but please burn those fuckers to the ground.
538 is modeling about 51/49 as the average outcome, so I'm not planning on a Blue wave. I suppose the Senate could go with the full "nuclear option" and kill the filibuster; but I don't know if that's good or bad for the country long-term.

I've never donated to any political contest in my life, but I just sent a few bucks to the challengers in Maine and Iowa. Sara Gideon's campaign probably doesn't even need the money, but these are 2 of the closest contests Dems hope to pick up.

As much as Lindsey disgusts me, I would be just as happy to see Cornyn go down. Can you get any whiter, oh, I forgot Pence.

At this point in time it’s a good thing. Parties need to be held accountable to do something and turds who want to overturn everything need to be accountable for doing so.
I am all for eliminating the filibuster

Fuck that guy!
While I don’t agree with many of his policies he was the only Republican to vote to remove Trump and I’ll always respect his integrity for that.

Assuming Biden wins we only need 50 seats so long as Kamala is okay with basically camping out in the senate for the next few years.

I am torn on Romney. He was a decent Governor but he did flip flop a lot.
I am confident he is a good man, I am confident his businessman side is ruthless.
I am not sure if this is the right time for Romney. He is a responsible conservative, he isn’t the guy to sell the country out to a dictator. He is too well educated to speak effectively to the common person.
