how many processes running in XP PRO

I usually have 27, i know couple are from EAX, ATI, REAL etc...but i still think there's more stuff goign on than should be, my questions is this: once you have a clean install, how many processes will be there?

I get 16 after eliminating Antivir, Firefox, Netpersec, Asus Probe, Trillian, and the task manager.

Sixteen ...services stripped down to a minimum w/themes ...No AV active ...No networking ...ZA Pro active ...three startup programs ...ZA ...scheduler(startup cleaner) and a startup cleaner so I can delete .dat files when I want to. 862 MB RAM free (out of a GB of RAM) at startup. Yeah, unused RAM is "wasted" RAM ...but I've got plenty of it available when I need to use it, ie. lots of browser windows, file copying and file moving and applications. It doesn't stay unused for long, but I like alot of horsepower on tap.
